Banner Elk, NC: Memorial Weekend in the Mountains: Sat. 10:00-5:00, Sun 10:00-4:00, free admission at the Great Train Robbery & Emporium in the country-club area of mountains, (doesn't get above 84 degrees.) Outdoors, 50 spaces, fine art, crafts, juried by 3 photos, 1 of display. Jury fee $5, 10x10'/$75, Elec. $25, 10x10', security. Avery county 7% tax. No food vendors.
